Vanessa and Diane and... a test.
    LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]nessa_girl)

Vanessa hadn’t actually intended on talking to anyone about this. It was something she could do on her own, something she had done on her own before.. but the circumstances were different now and she wasn’t sure what she wanted the results to be. So in a moment of panic , she’s realized she didn’t’ want. to be by herself this time And who would understand better than Diane right? So she’d called and asked Diane to come over, and now she waited impatiently for the doorbell to sound.
I'm not sure what i want the answer to be )

Dave & Diane - Christmas Day
    LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]dave_simpson)

Christmas Day. Early. Very early. Dave wasn't quite sure how early, because he wasn't facing the alarm clock, but it was still dark, and it was Christmas Day, which meant that Grace would be up soon. And when he thought about the day that was ahead, this would probably be his only chance to have some real alone time with Diane. So he slid closer to her and tucked some curls behind her ear, then leaned even closer and said in a half-whisper, "Hey. Diane." He pulled back and watched her eyelids flutter slightly, and smiled. "Hey," he said, leaning closer to her ear again. "You have to get it. It's Christmas."

It was Christmas? Already? Diane groaned slightly, pulling the blankets closer around her before forcing herself to open her eyes. "Then letting me sleep in should be my present," she protested sleepily. Of course, waking up to Dave's smile was present enough for her, but the complaining game came with that, too.

    Merry Christmas )

Stieg and Liz on Christmas Eve
“So the first part of my great Christmas eve plan is concluding” Stieg announced as he led Liz down he walkway to his own front door. The leisurely stroll through the neighborhood to check out Christmas light displays had been just how he’d planned and now he’d sufficiently kept her away form the house long enough for his family to evacuate for the evening. “Are you ready for part two?”

"Um, yeah!" she said, rolling her eyes. "Am I ever not ready? And can you believe that last house? Those lit up, moving reindeer were so cute! I named them in my head. Rainy and Deeer. That's three e's, by the way. Not one."

“Rainy and Deeer” Stieg echoed with a chuckle a he unlocked the front door and ushered her into the house. “Creative , yet” He paused turning to face her a teasing light in his eyes. “Not creative all at the same time.”

Aww! Liz puddle! And once again, thank you. Maybe in another few Christmas's, I'll have even more to add to the scrapbook )

Nessa and Liz scrapbook [backdated to Tuesday]
“Okay Liz you’ve got to see what Tommy helped me with the other day” Vanessa announced a she sorted through a few of the already finished scrap booking pages .Finally pulling out a page that she’d carefully positioned a few pictures of Kyle and Tommy that had been taken before she’d gone to D.C. and then she’d let Tommy decorate the rest of the page with stickers and crayons.

"Eeee!" Liz squealed, nabbing the paper from her friend's hands and inspecting it. "What a cute kid! Why have I only been around him a limited amount of times? Know what should happen, like, fifteen years from now? Gracie and Tommy should get married. Yep, it's what I said."

"You wouldn’t be the first to say it” Vanessa assured her friend with a grin.

I mean, when I was eight I wanted a boy named Elmo but that fails to stand today. But, like, it's normal, right? To be planning and thinking about it? It's not weird, is it? )

    Dave & Liz - cake & excitement
    LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]dave_simpson)

The apartment was his, and his only. Dave had told Diane he wanted to get some presents wrapped, and she had willingly taken Grace to play in the snow. Or was it to go ice skating? The mix of nerves and excitement blurred his memory, but he didn't mind too much- he was alone, which gave him a chance to call Liz. He told her that he'd just baked a cake (to entice her over), and then proceeded to pace the apartment, almost jumping out of his skin when he heard a knock at the door. Excessive energy was another side effect of the nerves and excitement, and he practically bounded to the door and opened it with a grin. "Hey," he said, pulling the door open even wider. "How're you goin'? Come on in."

"Goin'?" Liz repeated, a look of mock horror stretching over her features. "Oh my God! She's got to you too! I'm tellin' you, it has to stop. She must be stopped! But then I look at her and she's so damn pretty and any plans of bringing down the Southern belle come to a crashing end." She sighed tragically. "So hey!" she finally greeted back. "I'm so flattered, you look so happy to see me."

You're the first person I'm telling this to, so you have to promise to keep it secret )

Jackie and Megan come to some big decisions together. [Sat., Dec. 9]
    LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]megfarmer)

The one thing he could say about living on his own was he was finally learning to cook. Jackie looked proudly at the table he'd set and the food they'd almost finished and the fact that he'd done it all made him grin. "You liked?" he asked eagerly, possessing a facial expression that slightly resembled a small puppy seeking approval.

Setting her fork down briefly to pick up her napkin, Megan met his gaze, giving him a smile that told of her sincere gratitude better than her words ever could. "I did. I loved it. Thank you."

Jackie blushed at the praise, but he kept his smile in place. "See? I'm not hopeless. Just...okay, I'm hopeless, but apparently hopeless people can improve!"
What am I supposed to do for four months without you? )

Max and Pamela date with a side of Leslie - Backdated to Friday night
    LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]pamharding)

Must he have insisted they go out to eat? Really? The Rosebud was such a carb trap but eugh, it was so sinfully good. If only there were a way to extract the calories from everything she ate, while the flavor remained untouched. If only. "Fueling yourself up for the rest of the weekend?" Pamela asked, raising an eyebrow as she took a seat at the table.

“Something Like that” max replied rather off-handedly as he glanced around the restaurant. He’d known this excursion wouldn’t’ win him points in Pamela’s book, but it was best to keep a girl on her toes. And he was growing tired of bowing to her every whim.

Do I detect a hint of... jealousy? )
